12 Days, 11 Nights Safari – Serengeti Mara River Crossing

Day 1: Arrive Kilimanjaro International Airport

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, meet and greet with your driver guide at Kilimanjaro International Airport.
From Kilimanjaro International Airport then transfer to your hotel for overnight

Mt. Meru Hotel. Overnight.

Day 2: Arusha – Meserani Snake Park & Maasai Museum – Tarangire National Park – Savanna Bush Camps

After Safari briefing at the lodge. Your safari start to Meserani Snake Park and Maasai Museum.

Here you will get to get to see some of the snakes that you will not get to see them while on Safari. Here at Meserani Snake Park you will get to see African Rock Python, Black Mamba, Green Mamb. Puff Adder and other snakes that are found in East Africa.

Meserani Snake Park is also a bird Sanctuary. It has become home for injured birds that are rehabilitated here and then realised in to the wild again.

You will then visit the Maasai Museum and get to learn about the Maasai lifestyle. From Meserani Snake Park you will then depart to Tarangire National Park.

Explore the Park for its predators and prey till late afternoon. Then exit the park and proceed to Savanna Bush Camps for dinner and overnight. FB

Day 3: Savanna Bush Camp – Lake Manyara National Park – Savanna Bush Camp

After an early breakfast on this day of safari you depart with picnic lunch boxes to Lake Manyara National Park. Your day will start with canopy walk at the park entrance of Lake Manyara National Park. After this excursion you will then enter Lake Manyara National Park with an Armed Ranger you will then do a walking safari.

After walking safari you will then explore the national park till late afternoon.

Lake Manyara National Park is famous for its Tree Climbing Lions, large herds of Elephants and bird life. You will also visit the board walk at Lake Manyara, Hot water springs and Hippo pool deck.

Later you will exit the national park, stop at a Fruit Kiosk, here you will taste some exotic fruits that are grown in this fertile village that is situated at the base of Africa’s Great Rift Valley.

You will taste fruits like Red Bananas, Papaya, Custard Apple and other fruits of the season. Returning to Savanna Bush Camp for dinner and overnight. You will be our guest at Savanna Bush Camps on this night.

Dinner will be compliments from Meat Eaters Den FB

Day 4: Lake Manyara National Park – Oldupai Gorge – Shifting Sands – Nasera Rock – Serengeti National Park

After the breakfast depart from Savanna Bush Camp at 7:30am.

Passing Ngorongoro crater rim you descend through a really impressive landscape.

Once you come down Malanja Depression you will proceed to Oldupai Gorge area and then proceed to Shifting Sands and Nasera Rock.

Later during the day you will precede to Naabi Hill Gate after park formalities you will enter

Serengeti National Park from this gate, via game drive proceeds to Seronera Wildlife Lodge for dinner and overnight FB

Day 5: Central Serengeti – Mara River – Private Camp Set up Mara River

On this day of safari you will explore Central Serengeti for its predators and prey till noon , have picnic lunch then drive up to Vogakuria area in Serengeti North.

Reaching the camp just before sun down. you will meet up with the crew who would  have set up your private camp close to Mara River

You will be shown to your tents. Freshen up, seat by the fire place.

Have a few cocktails and drinks with sacks .Hear the sounds of wilderness by the fire place.

Shortly dinner will be served FB

Serengeti Excursion

On your request we can also offer a balloon safari in Serengeti (facultative): in the early morning you will start to this unforgettable adventure. After a breath-taking flight of about one hour in dawn and a champagne breakfast you will return at about 09.00hrs to Visitor Centre.

After getting your certificates that you have taken this Hot Air Balloon Safari above Serengeti National Park. At Visitor Centre you will then do a self-waking expiation trail that will tell you about Serengeti National Park.

Days 6 – 8: Mara River – Private Camp

These 3 days are plenty to explore Mara River Area to see the River crossing. The River section has 14 crossing points where the Wildebeest contrary criss cross during this time of the year. This stretch is about 35 Kms Long.

You will get to see Lions, Leopards and even other predators in this area as food is plenty. Your camp will be not far away from Mara River.

Keeping your private camp as your base for the next 3 nights in this area. FB

Day 9-10: Mara River – Central Serengeti

On this day of safari you will depart from your private camp in Serengeti North, say bye to the crew as they will bring down the camp and proceed to Arusha.

You will have your last game drive around Mara River, then proceed to Central Serengeti.

Arriving at Seronera Wildlife Lodge for dinner and overnight. You will spend two Nights in Central Serengeti.

Day 11: Serengeti National Park -Crater Tour – Savanna Bush Camps

Early after breakfast on this day of safari you depart from Serengeti with picnic lunch boxes then cross in to Ngorongoro Conservation area from Naabi hill gate after the park formalities. You will then decent 2000 feet in to the crater floor.

Explore the crater floor for a full day for its predators and prey till late afternoon then assent the inner wall of the crater, exit the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and Savanna Bush Camp for dinner and overnight FB.

You will be our guest this evening at Savanna Bush Camps in Mto Wa Mbu Meals Included!!

Day 12: Savanna Bush Camps – Maasai Village Tour – Arusha

On this day of safari you will depart from Savanna Bush Camp to Arusha with Picnic lunch boxes.
On the way you will have two excursions, you will first stop at a Maasai Village and get to know how the tribesman live.

You will then visit Meserani Snake Park and Maasai Museum at Meserani
Here you will get to see some of the snakes that you did not get to see while on safari
From Meserani Snake Park and Maasai Museum you will proceed to Arusha.
