8 Days, 7 Nights Safari – The Great Serengeti South Migration

Day 1: Arrive Kilimanjaro International Airport

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, meet and greet with your driver guide at Kilimanjaro International Airport.
From Kilimanjaro International Airport then transfer to your hotel for overnight

Mt. Meru Hotel. Overnight

Day 2: Arusha – Tarangire National Park – Savanna Bush Camps

On this day of safari after breakfast on this day of safari, you will have a safari briefing. You will be briefed from A to Z about your safari.

After safari briefing you will depart with your picnic lunch boxes you will depart from Arusha to Tarangire National Park. You will stop at Shoppers Supper Market for your last minute shopping.

Arriving at Tarangire National Park, after park formalities you will enter Tarangire National Park.

Tarangire National Park (The Garden of Elephants) you will get to see large herds of Elephants in this national park. With luck you will get to see Lions, Leopards and other plains game in this national park. Luck being on your side, you may even get to see the painted wolves (African Wild Dogs) and even huge Python that has coiled up a tree after a huge meal. Later you will exit the national park and proceed to Savanna Bush Camps for dinner and overnight.

After dinner you will be entertained by a local dance troupe from the village. FB

Day 3: Savanna Bush Camps – Lake Manyara National Park – Savanna Bush Camps

On this day of safari, after breakfast you will depart from Savanna Bush Camps with picnic lunch boxes to Lake Manyara National Park. Exploring the national park for its predators and prey.

Lake Manyara is famous for its Tree Climbing Lions, with luck being on your side you will get to see them. You will get to even elephants in this national park, In lake Manyara National Park, you will get to see lots of bird’s species. You will also visit the board walk and Hippo deck.

Later you will exit the national park, stop at a fruit kiosk. Here you will taste some exotic fruits that are grown in this fertile village that is situated at the base of Africa’s Great Rift Valley.

You will taste seasonal fruits of the season that are grown in this village. Fruits like Papaya, Red Bananas, Sugar Cane, Tamarind Fruit, Baobab Fruit, Custard Apple and other fruits of the season.

After this excursion you will proceed to Savanna Bush Camps for dinner and overnight. FB

Day 4: Savanna Bush Camps – Angata Kiti Plains – Serengeti National Park

Today your start will be early!!! After breakfast at around 0600 hrs. You will depart from Savanna Bush Camps to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, entering the conservation area from Loduare Gate after park formalities. You will then assent the out rim of the crater, stop at the view point get an introduction lecture how the crater was formed then proceed to Ndutu Woodlands via Oldupai Gorge (The Cradle of Mankind) Here at Cradle Of Man Kind you will get to see some of the fossils that were found in this gorge. From Oldupai Gorge you will then proceed to Shifting Sands, Nasera Rock and Our lonely friend the Fig Tree At around 1500 hrs. Angata Kiti Plains you will proceed to Naabi Hill Gate via visiting another lonely friend the Shetani Tree and then proceed to Naabi Hill for park formalities. After park formalities at Naabi Hill you will then enter Serengeti National Park.

From Naabi Hill Gate you will proceed to your private camp set up (Special Campsite) set in a very special place in Serengeti National Park. Once at your private Camp you will meet the crew, you will be introduced to the crew that would have set up the camp for you. You will be shown to your tents, freshen up, sit by the fire, dinner will be served shortly. FB

Days 5-8: Serengeti National Park

These 4 Days, you will spend 4 full days with unlimited kilometres of game drives.

Your game drives will be adopted to the position of the Great Herds. You will also explore Moro Kopjes – Maasai Kopjes and even visit the Maasai Paintings at Moru Kopjes.

While at Moru Kopjes you will visit Michel Grzimek Museum and also Visitor Centre in Central Serengeti returning to your private camp for dinner and overnight. FB

Serengeti Excursion

On your request we can also offer a balloon safari in Serengeti (facultative): in the early morning you will start to this unforgettable adventure. After a breath-taking flight of about one hour in dawn and a champagne breakfast you will return at about 09.30hrs to your camp

Day 9: Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro Crater Tour – Savanna Bush Camp

On this day of safari, you will depart very early in the morning with picnic lunch box. Say bye to your crew and proceed to Ngorongoro Crater via Naabi Hill Gate. You will then decent 2000 feet in to the crater floor.

You will then explore the Ngorongoro Crater floor for its predators and prey till late afternoon.

You will then assent the inner wall of the crater, exit the Ngorongoro Conservation Area at Loduare Gate and proceed to Savanna Bush Camp. Arriving at Savanna Bush Camp for dinner and overnight.

You will be our guests at Savanna Bush Camp on this night, you will also be entertained by a local dance troupe after dinner at Savanna Bush Camps. FB

You will be our guest this evening at Savanna Bush Camps in Mto Wa Mbu Meals Included!!

Day 10: Savanna Bush Camp – Arusha – Transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport / Continue with your onward safari

After breakfast on this day of safari after breakfast you will depart from Savanna Bush Camps in Mto Wa Mbu to Arusha, Have Hot lunch in Arusha. Then you shall be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport in time to Connect with your international Flight back home.
